10-Nov Jits....back training!

Neck and knee felt better to went back training last night, didnt do the Judo for the first hour.

We worked on chokes from closed guard:

1. cross inside collar grip and then as they posture up slide in under the far side with at least thumb to elbow. Movve hips to make room to move your arm.

2. same first hand grip, keep the guy down and move free arm to opposite shoulder. Get a grip, as they posture up, place hand accross underside of the neck and choke.

Both cokes are closed guard and always knees to elbows and elbows to floor.

3. One opf the lads showed me that if the guy uses opposite arm to bloke the choke, place leg on hip and open out for the Arm bar!

The it was rolling and more rolling.... good to be back!

Next comp is the 22nd of Nov, just going to train and enter, not worried about the weight this time!
