Comments:
Playing around with the snatch and clean with the KB, need to make sure the tech is correct. Struggled a little on the swings, the arms were hanging off me during the 4 min!

12-Sep Home Equipment

So toyin around the idea of getting some equipment at home.

The plan was maybe a barbell and some plates, but the apartment hard wood floors might have a problem with that! So I deceided on a KB and some dumbbells.

After the weight up of the cost of some dumbbells, I said I would just get the KB for the min and get the others again.

My purchase was a 16kg KB and the plan is to use it!

7-Sep 25 Pull-Up Challenge

So during the labour, I got me a mens heath mag. In it was the following article:
'The Men's Health 25 Pull-Up Challenge'

As I was going to be out of the gym for a bit and I had a pull up bar on the bedroom door frame, thought I would give it a go and see how I get on.

I always did better with Chin Ups over Pull Ups, so it was worth a mess about with.

Baby Jake!!!!!

Well at 5.18am on the 6th of September 2011 a little( we will get to that later) was born in Holles Street, Co Dublin. He was 41 weeks + 5 days, so over his due date.

The baby was delivered due to an emergency c-section and weighed in at 9 pounds 12 ounces and was 55cm long. Now I'm 5'9 tall and the same as the wife, so this lad is going to be tall. The average length of a baby in Ireland is 50cm, so this lad is in the 95th percentile for his age.

So my next few weeks will be spent tending to family maters and helping the wife about who aint allowed do much with the c-section.....
